Welcome Back!
We have had a great start to the new school year, and it has been fantastic to welcome our children back to school as they move from year one into year two.
This week we have been having some fun and getting to know our new routines. In English, are reading 'The Secret Sky Garden' by Linda Sarah and have been talking about what the main character would be thinking and feeling at different points in the story. We have also looked at the life cycle of a human in Science, which we will continue over the next few weeks.

Next week we will be starting our theme of 'fairy tales' by reading Little Red Riding Hood, and will also continue our work in Maths looking at place value of numbers up to 100.
