Little Red Riding Hood

This week we have been reading the story 'Little Red Riding Hood as part of our traditional tales topic for this half-term. We have been doing some character descriptions of Little Red and the wolf, and have thought about what questions we would want to ask each of the characters. Some children took turns pretending to be the characters and we had some great questions! "Why were you scared of the wolf?", "Why did you go into the woods alone?", "Why did you trick Little Red?", "Why didn't you run away from the wolf?".

 

In Science, we have continued our topic all about lifecycles, moving onto think about offspring and how babies and grown up animals and humans are different.

 

We have continued looking at place value in Maths, looking at how to use a numberline to help us count.
